We’re excited to announce that Easel now integrates with the system clipboard for copy and paste. Any app or website that copies SVG data to the clipboard can now be pasted directly into Easel and vice versa.

Ever since this update, I’ve been having trouble copy/pasting things from one sheet into another sheet. Also related to this update, tracking the browser window in Task Manager, it uses 75% of my CPU just to move something around on the screen. I’ve been using Easel for years and have never had problems like these. I have allowed all permissions in Chrome (I tried Edge and Opera also, with no success). I have tried to find out on my own what’s going on here, but I’m at a loss. Anyone have a clue as to what’s happening?
Having the same issue here now. Cannot copy or paste ANY object in Easel. I’ve tried changing machines, I’ve tried various browsers… nothing works. All of them have the permissions to access the clipboard enabled and easel.com is on the “allowed” list. It’s just not working. My production is at a stand-still. I’m going to have to ditch Easel and go port all my jobs to another piece of software (which I don’t want to do) if a fix isn’t available asap. Any help in getting around this problem would be appreciated.
We’ve identified and fixed a bug that was impacting copy/paste on a subset of projects and some of yours were likely impacted. It should be fixed the next time you reload your projects. Please let us know if you’re still having any problems.
Same issue here, running slow, heavy cpu use, can’t copy and paste between sheets, duplicate also having issues. Of course I reloaded, restarted and rebooted. Different browsers, cleared cache, etc.
Looks like the copy/paste functions are working perfectly now on all browsers. Thanks for the prompt attention!!!
