Do you have to use such a small bit. I find with acrylic use the largest bit you can get away with. Single flute is better as well. But to answer your question. I would do 3 maybe even though you probably could get away with 2 (just feels safer). When cutting acrylic heat is the enemy to a good finish so sharp bit, slow rpm, fast feed. I cant give you specific numbers (I don’t own a dewalt) but with 2 flutes slower rpms than you think. If you can do test cuts do it.[quote=“AlexBerger, post:2, topic:33047”]

6 passes to get through 3mm seems painfully slow, just my opinion.
Or you bit is dull otherwise 100% Agree.
