I ordered the 3/4 and 7/8" straight flute bits from inventables, i know there isnt a selection in easel for those but where do those ones fall on your chart? thanks for making that up for us!
i’m going to keep it bookmarked but it’d be awesome to have that right in easel down the road
Those particular bits are a little more difficult to put in the chart since they’re meant for planing or cutting channels, rather than general purpose carving. They should work on woods and machinable plastics, but I’d steer clear of anything else.
I am new to X-Carve and CNC and wondered what the Color Coding of the plastic collars on the BITs means? Is there another chart or something that explains what colors are for what purpose?
Any updates? It’s September, and this is something the majority of us could definitely use.
so as far as the color coding goes
I believe they are just to show you the diameter at a quick glance
but personally I would do some research or ask questions on different endmills and learn more about how they operate. I would not live by the color coding
