After spending the afternoon attempting to get my text to wrap to follow outside of a circle for a Christmas ornament, I’m giving up and will create it in a word document, then print it, then scan it using my Shaper Trace, then import it into Easel (WAY more work than this should be).
I tried to use the circle text app which was worse than useless as it removes the spaces between words, stacks letters on top of one another, and moves quote marks (““) to the bottom of the words (???). In essence it makes a complete mess of the sentence
I tried using Easel Pro’s “text effects”, but this very basic and simple thing that I’m trying to do (allowing text to follow a circle), is not an “effect” available in that limited menu.
I then thought that I could use the “warp” ap, but that requires converting text to an ‘object’ with no instructions on how to do this.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE develop this simple tool. you can steal the concept from just about any word processing software. PLEASE!
