Bezier Slope Generator questions

I’m about to experiment with the Bezier Slope Generator on a pair of model aircraft wings and noticed that the roughing pass creates a castellated path which I haven’t seen happen before…

Before I commit to a couple of hours work, is that the expected behaviour?

Next, in the Bezier Slope Generator app settings, I could never get exactly the dimensions for the width and height but instead just entered the approximate proportions - 2:1 in this case - and then enlarged/reduced to fit the design.

Similarly, the gradient controls max at 0.4527 for the deepest cut, which I’m guessing is 100% of the depth of the material - and it’s difficult to be precise. Ideally a scale of zero to 100 would help but it would useful to understand what 0.4527 represents.

Any enlightenment would be gratefully received

Using compression end-mill bits: 6.35mm (1/4") for first pass roughing and 3.17mm (1/8th") for detail. Genmitsu 3020 Pro Max.

I say try on a piece of scrap, I’ve never seen those tool paths before
