Cut Glitches Help

Hi Everyone, I am well into working with Easel and a 3018, thanks to all posts i learned something from  The radio face plate came out great  However i am struggling to eliminate the little extra circular cuts on the corner of my next piece. I have looked into many possbilities with no luck, The fact it repeats on the offset paths make me think its a machine setting thing, could be wrong  The extra cuts arent reflected in the gcode file, that i can see, I had a look at point edits and each corner has one vertice only. It doesnt show in any simulations (easel and camotics) and also happens to be where the cuts start and stop,.the other corners are much better. I am cutting on Shape path, I wanted 3mm wide cuts and using a 3mm double flute end mill. I adjusted feed speed etc to improve the roughness of the cut but cant elminate the extra half circles, I also had the same problem creating Gcode in Inkscape, i assumed back then it was my poor quality artwork so i switched to Easel but nope :frowning: Any help is most welcome (due to budget and space limitations i am using the offline controller for now, i can hook it up to my PC if required to fix GRBL or machine settings)

Updates: I pulled the stepover down to 1% minimum and things are a lot better. Hmmm

I have a couple of thoughts. First off flex in the machine parts can cause that. Maybe slow down the feed rate at those points? I think Easel has an overide, and you may be able do slow it down. Try a different bit type? Take a smaller depth of cut. Normally I use a 2 flute cutter but lately Iโ€™ve been using a single flute spiral. Get a quality bit. These are all things that may help.

If your 3018 is the one with lots of plastic parts, you may want to upgrade the Z axis to an all metal one.

Thanks Martin, I have given the machine the once over, aligned, cleaned and tightened and lubed. There is an improvment with overall cut quality. Reducing the step over when cutting on the shape path did remove those little extra tool โ€œmarksโ€ at the start and end points.I tried reducing feed and again an improvment. I will look into your suggestions, too, thanks  I am possibly pushing the machine to the limit, thanks again for your suggestions
