Download problem

Designed project, went to download G-code and it read “Download G-code (ZIP). Was told by Easel to “EXTRACT” the zip file and delete it.. But completely unable to find the file to do so…need help.

Are you using Windows? Just In case you might not know this….There is a download folder. Click on the little manilla folder icon at the bottom of the screen. I never get a Zipped file though, I just click on “ download ‘gcode”, not the zipped one, and save it to the desktop and eventually a copy to a thumb drive.

Hi Marty and many thanks for the reply. Yes, Windows 10. Been to the download folder and nothing in there re: the G-code or the ZIP one or a .nc for the project. Was wondering this morning if I were to delete the whole project and start over would it get rid of the (ZIP). Was told to extract the file with Windows Explorer and delete it but problem is I cannot find the file anywhere…frustrated….Joe.

Have you tried using the search tool in windows explorer such as searching for all *.nc files or tried saving the download again but this time watch where windows is saving the file to. I think that Windows defaults to my downloads but if all else fails, search your drives for all *.nc.
