Whenever I home or move the spindle carriage, it’s loud and vibrates more and more as it reached the top. Is this normal? See video…
I can only answer from my own experience with other z axes that I have had. I would think that a bottom bearing plate is in order, but check the antibacklash nut mounting screws and check the motor coupler screws for looseness and tighten them.
It appears that there is no bottom bearing.
I can not say for sure but I suspect that it is a machine threaded rod for a lead screw and not an recirculating ball ball and nut. This rod should have a fixed bearing top and bottom.
My original Shapeoko2, the forerunner of the X carve only used a top plate and bearing, and IIRC correctly the X carves shipped with a similar setup, an acme screw though an anti backlash nut. The cnc 4 newbies have upper and lower plates and bearings. The Z with a top bearing works fine, it’s just you get that wobble.
The OP’s must be the upgrade with linear blocks on the rails.
