This update leverages WebAssembly to significantly enhance toolpath calculation speed, making Easel more responsive and efficient. In our testing, we’ve seen projects experience up to a 70% reduction in toolpath generation time.
This is just the beginning—our team is actively working on additional improvements to further optimize performance and user experience. We look forward to your feedback as we continue refining and enhancing toolpath generation in Easel!

that is fantastic, but is there a way to increase the file size limit? its cool you have the app to reduce from 200 to below 100mb, but with the upgrade to STL file projects, i need to use an additional program to reduce file size.

Thanks for the feedback! We are looking into some improvements in this area as well. In addition to increasing the file size limit, we’re also exploring an improvement that would integrate a mesh simplification tool into the STL upload process - eliminating the need to use an additional, separate program for files that exceed the file-size limit. We’ll make sure to keep everyone updated as these efforts move forward.
