Holiday gift ideas?

I was looking for some holiday project ideas and ended up stumbling onto this older thread: Holiday Ornament Template (Fast and easy gift idea). I know it’s been a while, but the ornaments people shared there actually inspired me. I’m planning to make a few this year, probably simple wooden ones with names or small designs, something personal but not too complicated.

I’m also thinking about doing a couple of printed holiday cards. I might include a QR code that leads to something fun, like a shared folder with a bunch of photos we took this year or maybe a small holiday playlist or I’ll shoot a short video. Haven’t fully decided yet, but I like the idea of giving people something beyond just a card. (I admit I picked up the ideas here while doing some reading/research for work, but a fair share can be applicable to family gifts.)

What’s everyone else making this season? Any original gift ideas you’ve tried before or plan to try this year? I’m trying to stay on the affordable side but still make things that feel thoughtful. Would love to hear what you’re all working on.

I just got my machine (Sainsmart 3018Pro) last month, so I decided to dive right in with some drink coasters. Starting with simple names, but hoping to to a yin-yang tree of life once I can make artwork that will cut fairly quickly.

Drink coasters are actually a great idea, easy to personalize and cool. Thank you for sharing, this is definitely going on my list.
