New user here. Evaluating the software for my uses. How would I cut out a triangle with various radius on the corners? (Think like cutting out a billiard ball racking triangle.) I found where you could add rounded corners to rectangles and adjust the radius, but couldn’t find anything for triangles. Thanks!
Good question, lets see if @SethHoopes has the answer?
hello!
To cut out a triangle with various radii on the corners in Adobe Illustrator, first, create the triangle using the Polygon Tool. Then, round the corners by going to Effect > Stylize > Round Corners and entering the desired radius. Finally, convert the effect into actual path points by selecting Object > Expand Appearance. This allows you to customize the corners of the triangle as needed.
Thanks, but sorry I don’t have Adobe Illustrator. I’m just evaluating Easel right now. Do they include Adobe Illustrator when you start paying for Easel? Thanks!
Martin, Thanks for the video. I learned a lot of new ways to manipulate shapes. I’m actually trying to make precise radii on the corners of the triangle, say 2.38". I didn’t understand how I could set a precise radius from the video. Maybe if I keep watching it, sooner or later I’ll get it.
