Loading STL

I have a 200 mb stl. When I try loading it, it never seems to finish. Am I just not patient enough?

I would try to give it more time as I tried to load someone’s shared work for help and it didn’t load in what I thought was a reasonable amount of time. Somebody else chimed in that it took more time than I gave it.

8 hours later and it’s still loading… I think I’ll try reducing the STL file, hope I don’t lose too much detail.
