Not sure if this is an actual issue with Easel or just my machine but sometimes when designing a project on screen I lose the ability to select an item and then use my keyboard arrow keys to move the item around. I have found though that if you select an item with your mouse and it will not move with the arrow keys, just use your mouse to move it “anywhere” and then go to the top menu bar and select Edit and then Undo Move and you will again have the ability to use the arrow keys for positioning.
The same thing is happening to me.
Hello @DouglasWhitfield,
This seems to be a known quirk with Easel’s interface rather than a hardware issue. When the arrow keys stop responding after selecting an item, your workaround—moving the item slightly with the mouse and then using Edit > Undo Move—is an effective fix. It likely resets the object’s focus state, restoring keyboard control. Until Easel updates the behavior, this method is a reliable way to regain arrow key functionality during design.

Try using control “Z” to undo the previous action(s).
