My X carve is set to the desired depth, but it ALWAYS cuts at least twice as deep as the setting. I’ve made sure all is square etc. I bought this machine used yet seems that it is in great condition. Only issues being, too much depth than I have set and, is there any way to manually operate the machine?
Sounds like your Z axis steps per millimeter setting might need to be changed.
