when i carve out acrylic signs, i have some rough edges that stick up a little on the edges of the carved material. how do i get rid of it so it doesn’t cut or scratch someone when they are handling it? i carve the design revers so when they put it into the holder it is a smooth image, but the backside is what I’m asking about
I use a deburring tool to ease the edge. If you only use it on acrylic, it’ll last forever.
If you’re getting a jagged edge with pieces sticking out, you’re probably feeding too slow and melting the plastic.
