Strange things happing

Because Easel Pro no longer would work with my computer. The latest upgrade requires a GLP2 video driver (or something like that) to display the project image and my computer wasn’t compatible. I upgraded to a Windows 11 machine and it works most of the time. Occasionally it will loose the home button but a refresh of the page will fix it.

Now the strange part. I designed a project and started it running. Everything looked good, so i went to the project file and started to make changes, like I have done in the past. Whin I turned back to my running project, it was cutting the changes I just made. I’ve never had it change my projects in real time once I started it running.

Is this a glitch with Windows 11 or was Easel updating my project on the fly? I did download the latest Windows driver.

Thoughts, anyone

Dave

After many years in high tech, I’ve found that you should try multiple browsers to fix things like missing buttons, screen options, etc. Try Chrome, Edge, or Firefox before assuming it’s the application. Good luck.

Hi Dave,

This certainly is abnormal behavior. I would recommend submitting an error report from the project itself so that a member of the technical support team can assist you.

Make sure that your machine is connected to Easel, and turned on, so that this report will capture your machine’s settings. Here is the workflow on how to send an error report once your machine is on and connected:

Open project in Easel > select ‘Help’ dropdown menu > Select ‘Troubleshooting’ > Located under ‘Additional Solutions’ you will see ‘Send an Error Report’ > Type in a brief description of the issue; optional: include photos/videos > Click ‘Send’

They’ll be able to take a look at the project and work with you to troubleshoot further.

I quit using Easel three years ago because of issues, some with it, some because of internet issues. I went to UGS, but then I watched Garrett Frome IDC Woodcraft, switched to Gsender. Oh, forgot to mention I purchased Vcarve Desktop then to Vcarve Pro.
I’m glad I did. I’ve had installed on three different computers with no issues. Good luck.
