What am I missing?

Good Morning. I need help, just ask anyone who married me. Anyway, I have been making these crosses for about a year and a half with no problems. Made 35-40 just for one local church. Was carving one tonight and had 1 minute left in the carve and the machine seemed to finish without lifting the bit and try to return to the home position. Jammed the machine right up. When I turn the cuts off to view what is there, there is nothing there, even if I do a select all. Now on my design side of the screen with everything turned off, there is a section of my “grid screen” that seems to be missing now - no grid lines ??? Also, when you view the grid screen you can see where the 4 tabs are located. Viewing the tabs also show nothing. I am baffled. I will try and include pics.

From my experience it could be a computer glitch or even Easel. People have had a couple of problems with tabs the past few days. I might download UGS and try that and see what happens. You’d have to save the gcode to a text file.

Thanks I will give it a shot.

I have the same issue with Easel. I upgraded my spindle motor and holder and problems started. I got the reversed Z axis settings issue sorted out. I had to download UGS to correct the problem. Now, in Easel, I’m having the issue described. It works fine in UGS, with the loss of functionality available in Easel. So far I’ve wasted about $50 in material costs due to this problem. It’s irritating. Easel is great for designing. Suddenly it sucks for running a project.
