Where/how does easel determine home

I’m curious and have not tested anything… there is “home” which relies on switches to determine… but work center can anywhere within its range… when determining work center does the software relay on the center point of the bit or does it take in account the size of the bit…

ie, when homing to work center, should it be on the exterior of the bit… or the center of the bit…

Center of the bit. When you open your toolpath, you select on the line, outside the line, inside the line ,or clear out the object.
