I recently resurfaced my waste-board on my 4x4 X-Carve Pro. It was clearly the last resurface that I can do as it brought me flush with the T-Track. Thus, when it is time again, I will need to replace the waste-board.
I checked out the ‘projects’ section and didn’t find one, and I searched topics here in the forum and couldn’t find one, so…
I’m wondering if any of you who have gone before me have created a file for the waste-boards?
I could buy them from Inventables, and they are not that expensive at $149 each plus shipping (the 4x4 needs 2), but what kind of a woodworker buys wood products instead of making them??
I can obviously make one of my own, and it should not be too difficult.
…but as mt daddy taught me “don’t reinvent the wheel son - unless you plan to improve upon it”.
I doubt that I can improve on a simple waste-board, and so in the interest of saving some time - do any of you have a file for a 4x4 X-Carve Pro waste-board???
