When I started to get the hang of easel, and understanding how to operate the CNC it came as a relief. Now with the 3D feature, it is quite the mess. I feel as though a Stepcraft would have been a better investment. I bought the XCP 4x4 when it first came out at 13k, now that they’re 6k, my resale value has plummeted tremendously.
I tried to carve this wall art for my office, and easel just keeps saying error and error. It won’t run the toolpath at all.

My post wasn’t shared publicly or my project wasn’t?
well the post is there…but the project wasn’t shared publicly. You need to click the right command for public sharing.

I think this link might work?

it is a 3D project. Idk if that matters.
I put the exact link easel gave me.
That’s what I’m trying to carve
It doesn’t load for me, but I don’t have Easel pro. I would think it still should load. Perhaps the file is compromised somehow. Did you try to change to smaller bits?
So it works only if I increase the stepover from 7% to 15%, and the bit size. It won’t let me use a 1/32" bit (which is what I was trying to use at the beginning) or even a 1/16" bit. I have to use a 1/8" bit apparently for easel to process it. Quite annoying because at 1/8" the detail wouldn’t be as fine as a 1/32" bit.
This is one advantage the XCP has over other CNCs, and that’s an easy to work with software. Super user friendly to understand how to drive it. The downside is, yeah it’s easy to work with, and you can program your own designs from easel, but it’s not as advanced as other softwares in terms of capabilties. In vectric, I could program the exact thing I want, and the CNC will run it no problem. It won’t give me warnings like easel does, or take forever to process; if it crashes or I break a bit, itr’s on me. The other thing that easel should implement is the ability to import a photo, and then be able to design around the photo like both vectric and fusion 360 does.
Try Meshcam. I’ve used that for over a decade. I think it is free for a while. Pretty easy to use, you plug in all the specs you want.
